As big a fan as I am, and as much as I'd like to see the Mariners in the playoffs, if there is a strike I doubt it would take more than a couple of days for me to completely forget about baseball. The same seems to be true for most of the people I've spoken with: hardly anybody can understand why these jerks can't get there act together, and not many more care. (Now that I think about it, the only people I know who would really care are some heavy sports bettors who need their daily fix.) Bleh on all of them — bleh, I say!
